Takeaways
Project Scaleable was a valuable lesson on the importance of playtesting. Over the course of the project we ran tests to assess the clarity of our primary game mechanics in addition to playtests of our levels. These tests provided valuable feedback on our game's usability and difficulty progression which helped inform our tutorialization and iterations to the puzzles. Prototyping in greybox allowed us to quickly iterate on our mechanics which gave us more time to run additional tests to see if our edits addressed the problems we were trying to solve.
